Being a bartender with an allergy to egg whites is no fun! With this, Zac Kvas wanted to create a Whisky Sour Syrup with all of the flavour, but none of the egg whites, making it 100% vegan friendly!
Kvas Whisky Sour Syrup is a blend of freshly squeezed lemon juice, ginger syrup and oranges. The result is a naturally sour syrup, which combined with whisky, makes the perfect whisky sour every time!
Vegan Powers Whisky Sour
- 1 1/4 oz Kvas Whisky Sour Syrup
- 1 1/2 oz Whisky
- Garnish: Slice of Lemon
Simply add the syrup and whisky to a shaker (or mason jar) full of ice, shake until chilled and strain into a rock glass full of ice.
Tip: Shake a second time without ice, before straining, for a creamier mouthfeel.
